I had been advised by my previous dentist that implants were probably not an option for me after losing several teeth. I decided to pursue looking for an implant specialist in the Tamworth area where I now lived. Finding Ascent and reading the very positive reviews I arranged a free consultation with Faresh. After a very informative discussion a treatment plan was put together for me detailing all the options available.

I was delighted to know that in fact I was suitable for implants and made a decision to go ahead. I was guided by Faresh and his team as to what would happen at each stage of my treatment plan. The procedure used for using the all on 4 dental implant system is quite different to a traditional placement of dental implants. By having 2 of the implants placed at a certain angle, the bridge of the mouth will be supported by the stronger part of the jaw, which has higher bone density.

With any implant cases the location of the placement of the implants is very crucial for the long term success of the treatment. The implant dentist needs to take into account many factors that can effect the best locations to place the implants.

The planning stage of any implant case is very important to ensure the best possible result for the patient. By using the angled implants into the posterior region, the implant dentist can use the higher bone density of the front jaw for maximum stability. The restoration that is put on top of the implants will be a fully loaded fixed bridge, which are attached to the sockets of the implants and secured in place.

I contacted Ascent Dental Care after my general dentist advised me that I needed root canal treatment, which they would be unable to carry out. I was looked after by Jesal, who put root canal fillings into 3 of my teeth, which was not a straightforward procedure, as they were crowned front teeth, and 2 of the crowns were some 25 years old. I can only say that he did an excellent job. He explained everything very thoroughly to me beforehand, and I was truly amazed at how little discomfort I felt when the work carried out. He is a really nice guy, who puts you totally at ease, and the nurses, reception and admin staff are all very friendly, polite and efficient.
