What are Lumineers?

Lumineers are a strong type of porcelain veneer that are manufactured by the Cerinate Smile Design Studio. Due to being made out of a porcelain material, they can be made thinner whilst still retaining its strength and durability.

Are Lumineers Suitable For Me?

When getting veneers your teeth will require some form of preperation before the veneer can be placed. This is an invasive and non-reversible procedure that does require some healthy structure of the tooth to be removed.

When getting Lumineers, there is minimal preparation needed (case dependant) as the veneer is made from a very thin piece of porcelain.

If you are not happy with stubborn stains or any cracks or chips, then Lumineers may be ideal for you.

What’s Involved in Getting Lumineers?

Because there is minimal preparation needed, you could have your Lumineers fitted with two to three visits. The first visit will always be a free consultation where we will discuss with you your needs and examine your teeth to see if you are suitable. We will explain what is involved in the procedure and the different materials that are available. After the consultation we will send a detailed treatment plan outlining the different options for you.

Visited this practice as an emergency needing a tooth extraction ( which my own dentist said they couldn’t do) saw Laura who made me feel at ease and tooth was extracted with in 20 mins at half the price I was quoted from my own dental practice.. cannot praise this practice enough for there professionalism and caring attitude. I contacted Ascent Dental Care after my general dentist advised me that I needed root canal treatment, which they would be unable to carry out. I was looked after by Jesal, who put root canal fillings into 3 of my teeth, which was not a straightforward procedure, as they were crowned front teeth, and 2 of the crowns were some 25 years old. I can only say that he did an excellent job. He explained everything very thoroughly to me beforehand, and I was truly amazed at how little discomfort I felt when the work carried out. He is a really nice guy, who puts you totally at ease, and the nurses, reception and admin staff are all very friendly, polite and efficient.

I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent dental practice.
