I had been advised by my previous dentist that implants were probably not an option for me after losing several teeth. I decided to pursue looking for an implant specialist in the Tamworth area where I now lived. Finding Ascent and reading the very positive reviews I arranged a free consultation with Faresh. After a very informative discussion a treatment plan was put together for me detailing all the options available.
I was delighted to know that in fact I was suitable for implants and made a decision to go ahead. I was guided by Faresh and his team as to what would happen at each stage of my treatment plan. My implant journey began in December 2020 during Covid times and everyone at the practice were meticulous with cleanliness procedures providing reassurance to the patients.
It is now April 2021 and my implants are in and looking and feeling AMAZING!! I can now smile once again with pride and confidence. It is one of the best things that I have done and thank Faresh and his exceptional team for the kindness care and guidance that I received.

What Does a Bone Graft Involve?
- For maximum comfort we will carry out this appointment under IV sedation.
- The required bone will either come from another site of the mouth or be artificial bone.
- The additional bone will then be fixed on the chosen site.
- The treated site will be sealed and a healing period will follow before going to implant placement.
There will be some slight discomfort to be expected after a bone graft procedure but patients are able to take pain killers to help with this.
I went through the process of having implants fitted. Throughout the whole process I received excellent service and care from everybody at the practice. I did not, at anytime, feel uncomfortable or any pain and the procedure was never rushed but carried out at a pace that meant a very successful outcome. I’d recommend this practice very highly.

I had a crown prep done today at Ascent and I can’t say enough good things. Didn’t even feel the injection to numb my mouth and the whole team made me feel at ease and calmed any nerves I had. Recently had a new top Denture made, the fit was superb. With my previous denture I needed to use dental fixative daily and it still would rock, but my new denture made by Julian Smith is perfect I use very little fixative and it lasts at least 48 to 72 hours now.
