What Is Emax?

Emax are a type of pressed porcelain veneer. They are made by casting them under high pressure, which makes them a very strong and high quality veneer. Emax are one of the best and well known veneers available on the market. They are often used to improve the aesthetics and function of damaged teeth. A porcelain veneer is a thin layer of material which will be bonded to the tooth, to improve the overall look of the tooth/teeth.

The way Emax veneers are created is through a very unique method, but it does give them very superior results. The initial moulds of the veneers are made out of a wax, and then a cast is then made under high pressure.

What Are The Advantages of Emax?

I was delighted to know that in fact I was suitable for implants and made a decision to go ahead. I was guided by Faresh and his team as to what would happen at each stage of my treatment plan. My implant journey began in December 2020 during Covid times and everyone at the practice were meticulous with cleanliness procedures providing reassurance to the patients.

I contacted Ascent Dental Care after my general dentist advised me that I needed root canal treatment, which they would be unable to carry out. I was looked after by Jesal, who put root canal fillings into 3 of my teeth, which was not a straightforward procedure, as they were crowned front teeth, and 2 of the crowns were some 25 years old. I can only say that he did an excellent job. He explained everything very thoroughly to me beforehand, and I was truly amazed at how little discomfort I felt when the work carried out. He is a really nice guy, who puts you totally at ease, and the nurses, reception and admin staff are all very friendly, polite and efficient.

I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent dental practice.
