Our dental plans include access to a Global Dental Accident and Emergency Assistance Scheme. The Scheme is established to offer support to patients who request assistance or treatment following an accident, a dental emergency, are diagnosed with mouth cancer. Whilst the scheme aims to provide benefits in most cases, the scheme is a wholly discretionary scheme, not an insurance scheme. It has no obligation to provide benefits and the Scheme Manager will look at each request individually to decide whether or not to provide benefits.

If you are looking for a new dental practice, we are accepting new patient registrations. Please feel free to either call us or fill out the form at the bottom of the page and a member of the team will be in contact shortly.

Our new patient examinations cost £60 and after this our routine examinations cost £45.

For the hygiene visits (Scale & Polish), the price will be £55 or you can decide to have the airflow jet polish at £95 (which is a powerful way to clean your teeth).

Preventative Dentistry

Maintaining your teeth is an important aspect of preventative dentistry to help reduce the chances of needing fillings or even developing gum disease. We recommend that each year patients have the minimum of:

2 check ups a year
2 scale and polish visits a year (to effectively reduce the build up of plaque that everyday brushes cannot remove)
2 small dental x-rays to be carried out every 2 years (£8 each)

I had been advised by my previous dentist that implants were probably not an option for me after losing several teeth. I decided to pursue looking for an implant specialist in the Tamworth area where I now lived. Finding Ascent and reading the very positive reviews I arranged a free consultation with Faresh. After a very informative discussion a treatment plan was put together for me detailing all the options available.

I was delighted to know that in fact I was suitable for implants and made a decision to go ahead. I was guided by Faresh and his team as to what would happen at each stage of my treatment plan. My implant journey began in December 2020 during Covid times and everyone at the practice were meticulous with cleanliness procedures providing reassurance to the patients.

It is now April 2021 and my implants are in and looking and feeling AMAZING!! I can now smile once again with pride and confidence. It is one of the best things that I have done and thank Faresh and his exceptional team for the kindness care and guidance that I received.

I came to Tamworth 5 years ago with a real fear of dentists. As I needed to find a new practise I eventually plucked up courage to attend Ascent Dental Care.

I can honestly say, they have been amazing. From the reception team, especially Kathryn to my current dentist, Laura, I now have no fear of going for any treatment. I contacted Ascent Dental Care after my general dentist advised me that I needed root canal treatment, which they would be unable to carry out. I was looked after by Jesal, who put root canal fillings into 3 of my teeth, which was not a straightforward procedure, as they were crowned front teeth, and 2 of the crowns were some 25 years old. I can only say that he did an excellent job. He explained everything very thoroughly to me beforehand, and I was truly amazed at how little discomfort I felt when the work carried out. He is a really nice guy, who puts you totally at ease, and the nurses, reception and admin staff are all very friendly, polite and efficient.

I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent dental practice.
