What Is a Sinus Lift?
A Sinus lift is a surgical procedure carried out by either a periodontist or a dentist who has had the sufficient training required for this procedure, where they will add bone in your upper jaw. This may be required in cases that do not have enough room for dental implants. There are sinuses in either side of the nose (known as maxillary), which may require the additional bone to be added in-between the jaw and maxillary.
