Do I Need a Soft Tissue Graft

The most common complaints that might mean you may need one are:

Receding gum line.
Teeth roots are exposed.
Experiencing sensitivity to hot or cold. (Food and liquids.)
Cosmetic improvement around your teeth or implants.

How Long Will The procedure Take?

This does vary depending on how severe your case is and what exactly is required. This could potentially take between 1 or 2 hours. There will be some slight discomfort after the procedure, most most patients will be able to return to work the following day.
For the gums to fully heal it will take roughly between 2-4 weeks.

How Is The Soft Tissue Graft Carried Out?

We will administer a local anesthetic to numb the area.
Another area of the mouth will be used to take a graft of tissue.
This tissue will then be fixed to the treatment area.
An exposed root will need soft tissue grafting
