Lingual braces are a type of brace that works differently to traditional orthodontics. Traditionally you would be looking at a fixed option on the front of your teeth and this could mean “a very metal look”.
Luckily times have changed and braces have advanced over the years. One such advancement is the lingual brace. They are fixed to the backs of the teeth rather than the front. They are still a fixed option, but will be completely discrete as no one will be able to see them!
With so many different scenarios when it comes to straightening teeth, not all braces may be ideal for your case. We offer free consultations so we can asses your teeth and identify what type of braces will be the most suitable for you.
As well as lingual braces we do offer a wide variety of other systems which may also be suitable for you. We have a variety of fixed and removable braces that can offer you a host of benefits.
Typically removable braces (aligners) do tend to take longer times to treat teeth but they are removable so it does mean you can keep on top of your oral hygiene, better than if you had fixed braces. But with some of the fixed options, such as 6 month braces, they comprise of clear brackets for a more discrete way to straighten your teeth.
Depending on what you want to get out of the treatment (e.g. end result and experience), we are able to offer an extensive range of systems to meet your needs.
The first step is to book your free consultation so we can asses your teeth, determine your goals, and then follow up with a treatment plan outlining your options.
