There are ways to try and avoid a dental emergency – visiting the dentist regularly for check-ups and having regular appointments with the hygienist. However, dental pain unfortunately isn’t always avoidable and there are lots of different types of dental pain that can come on suddenly and be very painful and uncomfortable when it happens.
